REMEMBER ME COMPANY BlackBerry is going on about its awkward looking Priv handset, explaining how it intends to keep the thing as secure and sound as possible.
BlackBerry is planning a monthly security update package and to release hotfixes as and when they are needed. This is to be considered a good thing, so long as BlackBerry can ride the Android security pony with more confidence than its CEO handles the hardware.
“Android is a complex, rapidly changing, massively popular, open source product, which makes it an attractive and fertile target for attackers. BlackBerry’s security research team is constantly examining the firmware and software content in new releases to locate and address even more Android problems before they can cause harm,” said the firm in a blog post.
