Windows 10 Mobile Build 10572 brings Cortana improvements and Skype integration

THE INCREASINGLY delayed Windows 10 Mobile moved a step closer this week with the release of Build 10572 to ‘Fast Ring’ subscribers on the Windows Insider programme.

The new build includes a bug seen in the previous version which means that the only way to install it is to roll back to Windows Phone 8.1 and then update. This has been promised as a fix in the forthcoming 10575, but for now it’s up to you.

So why release it? Funny you should ask because Gabe Aul, the celebrity face of the Insider programme, asks the same question in his blog post.

The answer is that it has a load of new stuff in it, Aul couldn’t keep his powder dry, the Insiders voted to press ahead with the rollout, and democracy won at Redmond.
